I recommend and then separating it to be used for multiple uses. For instance, make a container specifically for cooking, one for lip ointment, another for diaper rash cream and so on. This way it never gets contaminated.

Ear Wax Removal
Warm a small amount in the microwave. Fill a dropper with up to a tablespoon. Turn your head to one side and place a few drops into your ear. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Repeat on the other ear.
When taken daily, coconut oil can help with weight loss. Eat around 3 1/2 tablespoon daily — spread throughout the day.

When you have oil or grease on your hands, use coconut oil to break it down. Then, wash it away.

When you get bit, apply a small dab of coconut oil onto the bite to stop the itch.

Cooking and baking
Use in place of butter for healthy cooking. The substitution rate is 1:1. That means, if the recipe calls for 1 Tbs of butter, you can use 1 Tbs of coconut oil.
