If you want to make your little one’s breakfast-on-the-go a little more special, or need a holiday classroom treat, you need to make these super cute Snowman Donuts! You can make your own, like we did, or you can buy pre-packaged white powder donuts. If you’re making a classroom treat, you’d probably be better off buying pre-packaged donuts for health and safety rules.
Wouldn’t these be so cute to surprise your little one with in their lunchbox? I know my kids would love it if I did this for them! Sometimes all it takes is a little effort like this to make our kids feel special.
White powder donuts
Clear cellophane treat bags
Permanent marker (black)
Orange construction paper or washi tape
Take three white powdered donuts, and place them in your clear cellophane treat bag. These bags can normally be found for very cheap in the party section at Walmart. Use the twist ties that came with them to seal the open end of the bag. Use glue dots to attach the three buttons down the front of the snowman.
Tie his ribbon scarf on. Then use the permanent marker to draw on the dots for his eyes and mouth. Make sure to let the marker dry completely before bumping it with your hand, or handing them out to kids to eat. Use construction paper and glue, or washi tape and cut out a small triangle for his nose. I used washi tape because it was easier, but if you don’t have it on hand, you could always use the paper.
That’s all there is to making these adorable Snowman Donuts! How will you use them this winter?
